Books: City of Glass (Paul Auster), Coroner’s Lunch (Colin Cotterill)

Auster’s book is good old postmodern classic. Detective story playing with identities – e.g. the main fictional character meets with the real life author…

Cotterill places his dective story in Laos. Somehow the dialogue and plot do not seem realistic in the context of 1970s communist Laos.
